Join us on Friday 12th June at 19:00 as we welcome Eugene O’Brien on board the barge. Writer of the acclaimed TV series Pure Mule and award‑winning plays Eden and Heaven, Eugene will share extracts from his work in this intimate and unique setting. A native of the Offaly, Eugene’s work spans theatre, television and literature, and he brings a deep connection to place and community that makes this a very fitting addition to the festival programme. ✨ A chance to hear from one of Ireland’s leading voices in writing — right here on the barge.
