Find the sundew
Our first activity for the festival is something really special — a guided walk to find the sundew, taking place on Friday 12th June (evening).
This walk will celebrate local biodiversity, as we explore the bog, learn about the wildlife that thrives there, and discover just how unique and special this landscape is.
The sundew is a small but remarkable carnivorous plant that grows in our boglands. It’s a powerful symbol of the area — resilient, rare, and quietly extraordinary — which is exactly why our festival is named after it.
Come along, slow things down, and see the bog through new eyes
