Ruan Summer Fest – What’s Happening….

Ruan Summer Fest is all about bringing the community together for a great weekend of music, fun and activities for all the family.

The festival is run by local volunteers, so it’s very much a community effort and a great excuse for everyone to get involved and enjoy themselves.

When & Where

It all takes place over the August bank holiday weekend (Aug 1st & 2nd) in the GAA car park and around the village.

Saturday Night (Aug 1st)

Gates open from 8pm

Live music kicks off from 8pm

Main act on stage around 10pm

Featuring: Electrad and supporting Acts

Expect a lively night with plenty of music and a good crowd.

Sunday Daytime (Aug 2nd)

Family fun from 12pm – 6pm around the village

Loads for all ages including:

Face painting

Petting zoo

Games and activities

Ice cream and treats

Traditional fun like poc fada and more

Perfect for families and anyone looking for a relaxed day out.

Sunday Night (Aug 2nd)

Gates open at 7pm

Music starts around 8pm

Main act on stage about 9:30pm

Featuring: Hermitage Green with supporting acts

A great way to wrap up the weekend with some brilliant live music.

All in all, it’s shaping up to be a fantastic weekend – a bit of something for everyone, and a great chance to support the local community while having the craic.
